A Fruit and Veggie Wash that Keeps Your Produce Fresh
Make Your Produce Last up to Four Times Longer
There's nothing worse than tossing spoiled produce in the trash. And to top it off, with the price of groceries ever-increasing, every fruit and vegetable thrown away is as bad for your pocketbook as it is for the planet.
If you're one of many with the goal to waste less food this year, then it's time to upgrade your meal prep with the iClean mini: an essential home cleaning device that's revolutionizing the way the world does zero waste!
Re-imagining What Water Can Do
Dubbed the "Best Invention of the Year" by Time Magazine, the iClean mini is the next generation device that re-engineers the molecular composition of tap water into a certified fruit and veggie cleaner – all in your home and on demand.
Like water, it's 100% safe. Unlike water, it cleans better than bleach but without the toxic chemicals - just the natural oxidizing power of Mother Nature on-demand.
How It Works
It's as simple as 1, 2, 3: charge, fill, spray!
The portable, cordless iClean mini holds its charge for weeks and charges up in as little as 60 minutes. Ordinary tap water goes into the base, and technology takes care of the rest.
As soon as you press the 'spray' button, the iClean mini gets to work, infusing molecules of water with an extra oxygen atom to create super-oxygenated water, a certified cleaning solution that gets the job done better than most toxic chemicals, 100% naturally.
The proof is in the pudding: field test results reveal the iClean mini’s solution can extend the shelf life of your produce up to four times. Meanwhile, the solution complies with numerous third-party safety regulations by the FDA, CFIA, USDA, and more, while boasting certifications from HACCP, Halal, and Kosher among others.
Step 1: Prepare the Device
Detach the iClean mini's base by turning it counterclockwise, ensuring the cartridge is intact.
Did you know? iClean mini cartridges provide ultimate cleaning performance by using food-grade resins to pre-treat tap water. They're the only maintenance the iClean mini requires and last up to three months before needing to be replaced.
Fill the base with cold tap water up to the indicator line. The iClean mini holds 150ml of tap water – just enough to clean all your fruits and veggies in one go.
Once filled, reattach the base by turning it clockwise, and the iClean mini is ready to use.
Step 2: Prepare Your Workspace
To make things even easier, the iClean mini doubles as an effective, all-purpose cleaner, so you can get everything done with one device.
With the iClean mini in hand, prep your workspace by spraying a layer of super-oxygenated water over your kitchen counters and sink.
After applying a complete layer of super-oxygenated water to your work area, dry it with a cloth or paper towel.
Step 3: Clean Your Fruits & Veggies
Next, apply the fruit and veggie wash to your produce in a layer that covers the entire skin to remove dirt, contaminants, and pesticides.
To wash smaller fruits and vegetables, like blueberries, peas, and Brussels sprouts, rinse them with the iClean mini in a colander, turning them over as you apply the solution to ensure complete coverage.
As a non-toxic fruit and veggie wash, you can leave the super-oxygenated water to air dry. The droplets will evaporate as the super-oxygenated water naturally reverts to ordinary water and oxygen again.
Step 4: Storage
Once cleaned, store your produce at the proper temperature and in the designated storage compartments in your fridge. For ultimate freshness, keep leafy green vegetables together in a crisper drawer with the humidity set to high and citrusy fruits in their crisper drawer with the humidity set to low. If applicable, store the rest of your produce together in a third crisper drawer with the humidity set to medium.
That's a Wrap!
With your fruits and vegetables washed and cleaned with iClean mini, they're safe to snack, sample, and serve without additional prepping. Enjoy the convenience of clean and fresh produce for weeks to come – and enjoy the added cost-savings of wasting less produce.
